Lot #114. Suduiraut 1971

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 91 NM.
"Tasted from the Chateau reserves at the estate. Lucid colour in the glass, the ’71 has a powerful bouquet with very fine delineation: heady aromas of marmalade, quince, a touch of marzipan and roasted almond. The palate is very well defined with a smooth, harmonious texture; notes of Clementine and quince . . . . it has bravura about it . . . . This is still drinking very well." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Sep 2011
Provenance: The Matador Cellar
Notes: Very top shoulder, corroded, nicked capsule, nicked, scuffed, bin soiled, damp stained label.
