Lot #140. L'Église-Clinet 1983

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Region: France, Bordeaux, Pomerol.
Score: 90 FM.
"Robust carmine-garnet, orange highlights, and an ocher rim. Fine notes of honey on the nose, ripe plums and blackberry confit, a delicate herbaceous spiciness; slightly restrained with spicy tobacco. On the palate there are solid tannins that structure the wine well - and they stick well too - and are underlain with a fine stewed plum note; an excellent food companion, still has a few years ahead . . ." Falstaff Magazin, Jan 2010
Notes: Top shoulder, nicked, lightly damp stained, lightly mold stained, very lightly scuffed label.
