92+ ST. "(25- and 35-year-old vines; the vines here have the same exposure as those in Bressandes but are a bit higher on the hill) Medium red, a bit less saturated than the Bressandes. Ripe aromas of plum, raspberry, chocolate and smoke, with a note of peach. Even sweeter than the Bressandes, with a sensual texture. But good underlying minerality gives this wine noteworthy cut and finesse. Nicely delineated owing to its sound acidity. Finishes quite firm, but with the tannins coming late." Vinous, Mar 2005 |
