Lot #25. Arnaud Ente Puligny-Montrachet Champ Gain 2014

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 94+ JG.
"The new addition of Champgains is absolutely stellar in 2014 as well. These nearly sixty year-old vines have produced a classic example that has a bit more depth at the core than the Referts, but which is equally racy and refined. The bouquet offers up scents of white peach, apple, a fine base of chalky soil tones, orange zest and just a hint of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and absolutely complete in personality, with a fine core, bright acids and excellent cut and grip on the very long, very elegant finish. Chapeau!" John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Mar/Apr 2016, Issue #62
Provenance: The Bijou Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $550
