93 WA. "ll of the 2014s from this estate are downright impressive and well worth seeking out. My favorite of the 2014s was easily the 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Les Sables de La Crau, which is always 100% Grenache, from sandy soils on the la Crau plateau. It’s partially destemmed and aged all in demi-muids, and in 2014, it has the most depth and richness of the lineup; it’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage, as well. Framboise, strawberries, spice box, dried herbs and toast all flow from this full-bodied, elegant, gorgeously polished Châteauneuf du Pape that is just filled with pure Grenache love."
