"Initially smells of buttered popcorn and well-crisped bacon, but with aeration a lovely honeysuckle scent appears making the final stages of sniffing a delight. Entry is caramel sweet and red fruit ripe; the midpalate is pleasingly oily, fatty, chewy and bittersweet. Finish is nicely assertive with top notes of dark toffee and fudge."
