Lot #57. Trotanoy 1971

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Region: France, Bordeaux, Pomerol.
Score: 93 RP.
"I remember this dark garnet-colored wine being absolutely delicious in the mid-1970s, and every time I go back to it, it seems to improve in the bottle. It is still superb, with gobs of velvety, ripe, decadent Merlot fruit, an opulent texture, and a long, full-bodied, heady finish. This is among the finest wines of the vintage (eclipsed only by Petrus)." Bordeaux Book, 3rd Edition # B1, Jan 1998
Provenance: The Bouvreuil Cellar
Notes: Base neck, scuffed capsule, lightly scuffed, very lightly damp stained, very lightly mold stained, very lightly bin soiled label.
