Lot #513. Booker Vineyard Grenache Ripper 2016

Description: Consists of 9 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 97 JD.
"The 2016 Ripper reminds me of a top vintage of Marcoux Vieilles Vignes cuvée from Châteauneuf du Pape with its huge nose of kirsch, blackberries, ground herbs, blueberries, graphite, and melted licorice. This beauty is full-bodied and powerful, yet also elegant, seamless, and graceful on the palate, with fine tannins and a huge finish. It’s an incredible Grenache. Eric Jensen’s Booker Vineyards continues to make a ripe, sexy, pedal-to-the-metal syle of wine and these latest 2016s don’t disappoint." Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com, Nov 2018
Provenance: The Normande Cellar
Notes: 4 chipped wax capsule, lightly scuffed labels.
