94 NM. "Tasted at JP Moueix. The Château Providence is very muted at first, but it takes time to unfurl. Worth the wait though, as it offers broody black fruits, fireside hearth, liquorice and a faint touch of wild heather. Good delineation, but it reminds more introspective than others in the JP Moueix range. The palate is very powerful with intense black fruits. Very concentrated, perhaps more like Hosanna in style: upfront and ambitious. Lovely sweet finish that is almost creamy in texture – this is superb. " Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Jan 2011 |
