Lot #3489. Harbison Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Premiere Napa Valley Lot No. 77 2009

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: . PNV.
"5 cases produced. The 2009 JP Harbison Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is from our first full harvest (11 tons) from our vineyard nestled in the heart of Oakville’s Vaca Ridges and red rocky soils. This special lot for Premiere Napa Valley will be blended from a single block only. The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon showcases Oakville’s telltale complexity of flavor. Up front, the aromatics are classic blackberry and ripe cherry, but as the wine opens up, it reveals scents of rich tobacco and freshly cut cedar. On the palate, the wine has the verve that comes from being grown in a location that consists of nothing but rocks and the occasional handful of soil. It starts with a beam of fruit that makes it a perfect pairing for roasted meats as it will never be ponderous. The acidity is balanced out by firm but seductive tannins that provide the wine with richness and depth. Aged in 100% new French oak for 22 to 24 months. Wine is unfiltered; Single vineyard wine; Sustainably produced; Wine is 100% estate grown and bottled." PremiereNapaValley.com
