Lot #33. Giscours 1975

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 93 VM.
"Garnet-tinged ruby. Leafy underbrush scents complicate red cherry, red berry and tobacco on the captivating nose. Very sweet on entry, then seamless and rich in the middle palate, with a restrained sweetness and noteworthy precision to the flavors of red cherry, tobacco, leather, caramel and coffee. This very well-balanced wine finishes with still-chewy tannins and palate-staining intensity. Always a great Giscours, this bottle stood out in my tasting." Ian d'Agata, Vinous.com, Jan 2012
Provenance: The Maquereau Cellar
Notes: Upper mid shoulder, nicked, lightly scuffed, lightly damp stained label.
