. TC. "Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. Intentionally more approachable than his other two bottlings. New label. Damson and liquorice and red berries on the nose. Very fresh red fruit on the palate with well-defined and gently grippy tannins. Seems slightly more elegant but less intense than the 2005 and 2006. Aniseed notes. A touch of red pepper and spice on the finish." Tamlyn Currin, JancisRobinson.com, 5 Jul 2010 (Tasted 23 Feb 2010) |
