91 AM. "The new oak that was so apparent from cask has been almost completely absorbed. This is quite darkly colored with a very spicy nose and dense, very sappy, powerful flavors with a considerable tannic structure that is virtually completely buried. This has the size and density of syrah yet the elegance and sweetness of pinot. Incredible quality here for villages Gevrey." Burghound.com, Jan 01, 2002 |
