"The bouquet is deep, complex and nearly bottomless, as it offers up notes of cherries, blood orange, licorice, a bit of bonfire, tarry tones, fresh thyme, a great base of complex soil nuances and a bit of spice in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite powerful, with great focus, a rock solid core of fruit, firm tannins and acids, and outstanding length and grip on the very primary and chewy finish."
