". . . showed very well for its recent movements, as it offers up a cool and classic aromatic profile of plum and cherry fruit, woodsmoke, coffee, soil tones and just a hint of caramelized fruit which I attributed to the recent racking. On the palate the wine is medium-full, tangy and well-balanced, with modest tannins, nice acids and good length and grip on the soil-driven finish. This should turn out to be a lovely bottle."
