92 JG. "This is quite a young wine, but it is beginning to open up nicely and drink well indeed. The bouquet is a complex and classic blend of buttered apples, lemon zest, crème patissière, chalky minerality, spring flowers and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and focused, with fine mid-palate depth, lovely detail and a long, complex and bouncy finish. This is certainly a lovely bottle of white Burgundy in the making, and with the Drouhins having changed their corks commencing with the ’04 vintage, this wine has a very good chance of evolving along the classic white Burgundy aging curve."
