Lot #15. Michel Lafarge Bourgogne 1996

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: "Revealing a medium ruby color and gorgeous aromas of ripe red cherries, the Bourgogne seduces the taster with bursting, juicy, and sweet raspberries and cherries as well as floral and perfumed notes. This medium-bodied wine admirably accomplishes its goal - it gives pleasure. It almost impossible not to smile as the succulent fruits pop on your tongue in this plump, fat, and soft offering. The Lafarges maintain that their Bourgognes age well . . ." Wine Advocate #116, Apr 1998
Provenance: The Sea Cliff Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $110
