"The 2009 Blanchots offers up just stunning transparency for this riper styled vintage, coupled to beautiful structure and absolutely disarming purity of fruit. The superb bouquet offers up scents of lemon, apple, grapefruit, anise, very, very complex minerality, a touch of hay and a topnote of lemon peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very crisp, with great focus, a fine core of fruit, impeccable balance and beautiful complexity and cut on the very long, snappy and intensely flavored finish.
