"A subtle trace of new oak frames fresh, ripe and complex blackberry, cassis and warm earth aromas that introduce big, rich and textured flavors that possess velvet covered muscle on the punchy, vibrant and firmly structured yet suave finish. Like the 2006 version, this is not particularly elegant but it's a serious and high-quality effort brimming with dry extract that is built to age and improve over the next decade.
