"The 2010 Sauzet Montrachet, which all hails from the Chassagne side of this great vineyard, is also brilliant in this vintage. The deep, reserved and stunning nose offers up a magical blend of apple, lemon, white peach, smoky notes, citrus peel, iodine, a brilliantly complex base of soil and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very, very pure and refined, with great intensity at the core, superb acids and stunning length and grip on the perfectly focused and quite closed finish.
