Lot #83. Armand Rousseau Chambertin 1995

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 96 NM.
"The nose unassuming at first, but is undeniably harmonious and then unfurls extraordinarily slowly to reveal scents of wild strawberries, rusty nails, rose petal and a touch of raspberry coulis. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, silky in texture, a savoury, bacon-fat edge developing with time in the glass. At first it seems superceded by the Clos de Bèze, but by the end of the dinner it 'billows,' revealing further nuances of dried apricot and a little soy. Very complex and cerebral. Wonderful." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Jan 2009
Notes: Import sticker partially covering label, slightly recessed cork.
