"Saturated red-ruby. Pure, blacker aromas of cassis, licorice and violet; lively and perfumed. Very suave on entry, then juicy, precise and tightly wound, with highly aromatic dark berry and violet flavors. Finishes with strong tannins and great lift and persistence. Less exotic and less robust than the Brulees, but more sharply delineated and even longer." Vinous, Mar 2004
