Lot #1355. Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir 1991

Description: Consists of 12 Bottles, 0.75L
Packaging: OWC.
Score: 90 RP.
"The 1991 Pinot Noir, the first wine made from Drouhin's own vineyard and completely vinified by his daughter, Veronique, is a major breakthrough for Drouhin's Oregon operation. I would boldly suggest that this wine is better than most of Drouhin's French Pinot Noir offerings. The color is nearly opaque dark ruby. The nose offers up splendidly ripe scents of black fruits, smoke, toasty oak, and minerals. Rich and medium to full-bodied, with layer upon layer of sweet fruit. . . .Impressive!" Wine Advocate #87, Jun 1993
Notes: OWC (2), 1 lightly damaged lid. 3 x 2cm, 4 x 2.5cm, 1 x 3.5cm, 1 x 4cm, 1 x 4.5cm, 2 x 5cm, lightly scuffed and 9 very lightly bin soiled labels.
