95 JG. "The 2007 Pucelles is even better, and must clearly be one of the most profound premier crus to be found in this great white Burgundy vintage. The stunning bouquet offers up a very complex and beautiful mélange of apple, pear, lemon zest, beautifully complex limestone soil tones, apple blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and hauntingly transparent, with a rock solid core of pure fruit, brilliant elegance, great intensity of flavor and a very, very long, very racy and profoundly focused finish. Great wine." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Jan/Feb 2009, Issue #19 |
