Lot #421. Jamet Côte-Rôtie 1988

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 95 RP.
"The 1988 Côte-Rôtie has already thrown a heavy sediment because of its admirable extraction level. Opaque black/purple, with an incredible knockout bouquet of cassis, leather, herbs, smoked meats, and Asian scents (soy), this fabulously rich, dense, chewy Côte-Rôtie has a texture that reminded me of a great Pomerol. I have had it open for as long as three days without seeing any degree of oxidation. This is a profound example of Côte-Rôtie." Rhône Book, Dec 1996
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $900
