Lot #122. Joseph Roty Mazy-Chambertin 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 96-97 NM.
"rom a tiny plot of vines planted in 1919 located next to Bernard Dugat’s, this is a monumental wine. A deep broody nose of black cherries, a touch of wet sand and bitter chocolate. Full-bodied palate that is so, so pure with fantastic delineation and verve. Stunning balance and focus, this wine just dances across the mouth. Just a really fabulous wine with incredible length. Roty’s best wine of 2005?" Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Jan 2007
Provenance: The Saône Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $300
