95 JG. "The 2016 Corton-Charlemagne from Domaine Rollin is an absolute classic in the making. The nose soars from the glass in a youthful blaze of pear, apple, complex, chalky minerality, a touch of beeswax, white flowers, vanillin oak and a touch of pink grapefruit in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with superb focus and grip, a bright, seamless structure and outstanding balance on the very, very long and youthful finish. This will need some time to properly emerge and start to deliver its secondary and tertiary layers of complexity, but it will be stunning when it is ready to drink!"
