Lot #121. d'Yquem 2004

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 97 FM.
"Bright yellow with green highlights. Still very underdeveloped on the nose, with nuances of apricot confection, candied orange peel, fine floral honey with lanolin, delicate oak spice, nuances of ripe figs, and fine herbs. On the palate, mineral, fine citrus notes, pleasantly salty, finely structured, the residual sugar is barely noticeable, still completely embryonic, very juicy, creamy texture, racy acid structure following on lemongrass and citrus zest, sweet echoes of stone fruits, complex and persistent, all with great promise for the future. A potential classic." Falstaff Magazin, 11/25/2011
Provenance: The Foxy Cellar
Notes: Nicked capsule.
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $160
