Lot #137. Pierre Morey Bâtard-Montrachet 1988

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 96 NM.
". . . a 1988 Bâtard-Montrachet comes my way and I am not disappointed. It is blessed with a stunning, mineral-rich bouquet with hints of white peach and yellow plum. You could feel the energy tripping off this Grand Cru. The palate is anointed with perfect acidity and a salinity that leaves the mouth positively tingling for 60 seconds after the wine has departed. This is an awesome wine from a legendary winemaker. Tasted at the La Paulée in Beaune." Vinous, May 2019
Provenance: The Multitude Cellar
Notes: 2.5cm, Nicked, lightly corroded capsule, damp stained, scuffed, bin soiled label.
