Lot #1332. Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet 1985

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 95 AM.
"Mature yet very fresh and utterly stunning nose of Chevalier-like precision with Bâtard richness and volume leading to wonderfully complex, expansive, deep flavors and length to burn. This is one of the finest examples of this cru that I have ever tasted from Leflaive and I just kept marveling over the seemingly endless aromatic nuances as it kept changing and evolving in the glass for almost two hours. This is an extremely impressive effort that is drinking perfectly now though appears to have the legs to keep on going for another 10 years. Multiple bottles tasted with similar results." Notes: 1 x 3.5cm, 1 x 4.5cm, nicked capsules, nicked, scuffed, and lightly bin soiled labels, signs of slight past seepage.
