“Bright yellow with golden tinges. Perfumed aromas of guava, peach, minerals and sweet spices. Multilayered and suave, displaying a lovely sense of balance to the rich, long orchard and tropical fruit flavors. Finishes very clean and fresh, as well as a little sweet (29 g/L residual sugar and 5.1 g/L total acidity) and tannic; the hint of tannic bite is fairly typical of the Hengst due to its marly soils. Barthelmy likes the 2015 Pinot Gris Furstentum more in 2015, but for me it’s the other way around.” Vinous 91+ Points
