Review: |
“This is the first wine to display any material wood influence though I stress that it's quite subtle and easily allows the overtly pepper and earth-inflected aromas of dark currant, plum and humus to be appreciated. There is more size, weight and power if a bit less refinement to the medium-bodied flavors where the supporting tannic spine is slightly firmer on the delicious and more complex finale. Good stuff.” |
