"The 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Serpentières is more reserved, unwinding to reveal a pretty bouquet of red cherries, plums and strawberries mingled with spices and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, deep and fleshy, it's nicely concentrated, its ample chassis of satiny tannin largely concealed, concluding with fine persistence.
