Lot #192. Domaine Leroy Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 98 AM.
"The magnificent nose is positively kaleidoscopic with a breathtaking array of spice, tea and seductive black and blue pinot fruit aromas that absolutely display the brilliance of a great RSV. The rich, full-bodied and powerful yet silky flavors are wonderfully refined and extremely concentrated though with absolutely no sense of heaviness or surmaturité on the unbelievably long finish that seems to go on without end. This is another one of those 'wow' wines that you can only shake your head in amazement at the power it delivers without weight. It's honestly hard to convey just how good this is but dazzling would be a good start." Burghound.com, Oct 04, 2014
Provenance: The Besançon Cellar
