93 AG. "The 2010 Lithic wraps around the palate with dark cherries, plums, new leather, cloves and menthol. Rich, powerful and intense, the 2010 shows off gorgeous depth and persistence. Portions of the Grenache and Syrah were fermented with whole clusters, but today it is the fruit and structure that are front and center. With time in the glass the wine's inner perfume emerges, adding lift and nuance. The blend is 44% Grenache, 31% Mourvedre and 25% Syrah, all from Shake Ridge Vineyard in Amador County."
