Lot #49. Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 2001

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 92 ST.
"From young Musigny vines. Medium red. Explosive, perfumed aromas of strawberry, raspberry and mocha, with a briary nuance. Wonderfully round on entry, then a bit unforthcoming in the middle palate. But offers rare sweet for the vintage, along with superb clarity of raspberry and mineral flavor. Finishes impressively long and subtle, with very fine tannins. Delicious wine, and a relative value in the context of these 2001s." Vinous, Mar 2004
Provenance: The Mont Blanc Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $225
