93+ JG. "The 2015 Charmes chez Jobard is also a lovely wine, with just a touch more generous style than the Poruzots and Genevrières this year, but still impressive acidity for the vintage. The bouquet is pure and beautiful, delivering a blend of pear, tangerine, buttered almonds, salty soil tones, orange blossoms and a deft framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and supremely elegant, with a fine core, bright, zesty acids, lovely complex and a very long, suave and vibrant finish. This is going to be hard not to drink right out of the blocks, as it is flat out delicious, but I would try to hold it for at least a few years in the cellar and allow some of its secondary nuances to come more to the fore."
