"The 2017 Morey Premier Cru bottling was in fine form at the time of my visit, soaring from the glass in a very expressive blend of red cherries, pomegranate, complex, chalky soil tones, cocoa power, woodsmoke and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full, long and nicely sappy at the core, with excellent transparency, suave, refined tannins and a long, precise and complex finish.
