Lot #207. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echézeaux 1964

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: . AM.
"An expressive nose that is fully mature and quite ripe with a very supple and sweet mid-palate that is wonderfully complex if not particularly well focused. A rush of tannins arrives on the finish and it's unlikely that this will ever harmonize as there isn't enough fruit to see the structure through to full resolution. Still, this is attractive in its fashion and would best be served with appropriate food to buffer the tannins . . . . Multiple and consistent notes." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Mar 2010
Provenance: The Multitude Cellar
Notes: 3cm, recessed cork, worn, lightly scuffed, lightly bin soiled capsule, scuffed, bin soiled, damp stained, mold stained, torn, and tattered label, #02033.
