"Fully mature, yet still showing solid mid-palate density and sweet fruit, the 2003 Les Cailloux Chateauneuf du Pape offers up a melange of sweet fig, kirsch, roasted herbs, and licorice aromas and flavors to go with a full-bodied, voluptuous, yet completely integrated and supple mouth feel. Fairly evolved, with some bricking at the edges, it, nevertheless, held up beautifully over the evening and gained richness and depth with air.
