91 JG. "Interestingly, though the Morey AC showed just a bit of sur maturité on the nose, the Michelots’ 2015 les Charrières is very pure and nicely reserved in personality. The nose wafts from the glass in a very classic blend of black cherries, dark berries, woodsmoke, game, bitter chocolate and a fine base of dark soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very nicely structured, with a plump core of black fruit, fine soil signature and a long, tangy and moderately chewy finish. Good juice in the making."
