"The most brilliant of these blends is the 2005 Cuvee Kristina Proprietary Red (80% Syrah, 13% Grenache, and 7% Mourvedre). This fabulous wine boasts a deep blue/purple hue as well as a sumptuous bouquet of acacia flowers, melted licorice, blackberries, blueberries, creme de cassis, and subtle oak in the background. Superb ripeness, full body, beautiful opulence, nicely integrated acidity and tannin, and a tremendously long, expansive mouthfeel result in an outstanding effort.
