98 TA. "Christophe Roumier prefers the grapes he gets from white soils, which is just as well given that they dominate this four-parcel cuvée, only one-third of which comes from red clays. This always has more power than his other three Grands Crus, but it's still a very hedonistic wine, with fine tannins, supple red berry flavours and a fresh, chalky finish. So good you want to drink it from the barrel." Tim Atkin MW, TimAtkin.com |
