91-94 AM. "From a tiny 0.04 ha parcel. A pungent nose reflects notes of citrus, wood toast and reduction. Otherwise there is more impressive volume and mid-palate density to the muscular, mouth coating and very serious big-bodied flavors that brim with both minerality and dry extract that imparts a sappy texture to the impressively lengthy finish. This too is going to need at least a few years to add more depth but overall, it is an unusually powerful Chevalier." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Jun 2020 |
