"L'Orcio's 2013 Chianti Classico Ca' di Pesa is fabulous. Rich, sumptuous and resonant in the glass, the 2013 is utterly captivating from the very first taste. The flavors are bold yet also beautifully delineated - especially for such an intense wine - while the French oak is better integrated than it has been in any other previous vintage. A host of rose petal, savory herb, mocha and spice add nuance on the finish. Readers should expect an ample, textured Chianti Classico that reflects the inherent intensity of the Conca d'Oro.
