"The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach is another gorgeous wine from Alpha Omega. Tar, smoke, licorice and spices burst from the glass in a juicy, explosive Cabernet endowed with serious depth and personality. The firm mountain tannins are there, but they are nearly buried by the pure intensity of the fruit. Blackberries, ash, game and smoke are layered into a huge finish that will require a measure of patience. I was very impressed with the wines I tasted from Alpha Omega this year. Over the last few years, the wines have gotten increasingly polished and interesting. Alpha Omega sources fruit from a number of Andy Beckstoffer's best vineyards."
