90 WA. "The 2011 Côtes du Rhône-Villages (it is biodynamically farmed) is a blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre and 25% Syrah. This outstanding offering comes from declassified vineyards in Rasteau as well as Plan de Dieu, which is the heart of the Cotes du Rhone region. It exhibits an excellent texture along with notions of white chocolate, kirsch, black currants, cedar and spice box, good acidity, a fleshy, fat, forward, fruity character and a spicy finish. It, too, should drink nicely for several years." Wine Advocate #203, Oct 2012 |
