Lot #148. Georges Roumier Musigny 2002

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 97 NM.
". . . Christophe Roumier apparently had to re-barrel, as the original vessel was thought to be overly oaky. It was worth the effort because I adored this wine. A seamless nose of raspberry, wild strawberry and cranberry, yes with some tangible new oak but perfectly in tune with the fruit aromatics. The medium-bodied palate is utterly harmonious with a freshness and vitality that I was not anticipating. Very natural and refined, ironically an 'effortless' feel to it given the travails in its élevage. Quite feminine and utterly entrancing." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Oct 2006
Provenance: The Coccinelle Cellar
Notes: 2cm, very lightly scuffed, damp stained, lightly mold stained label.
