"The 2010 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées from Domaine Bruno Clavelier is excellent, delivering a deep and classy nose of dark berries, black cherries, espresso, a bit of game, dark soil tones and a deft framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and nicely reserved in style, with a sappy core of fruit, outstanding soil inflection, ripe, fine-grained tannins and excellent length and grip on the focused and youthful finish.
