95 JD. "Similarly colored, yet both deeper and richer, the 2010 Domaine Paul Autard Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée La Cote Ronde is serious stuff. A blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah that spent 16 months in barrel, it boasts knockout aromas of blackberry and black currant styled fruits, lead pencil, garrigue, and chalky minerality on the nose. Fabulously concentrated, rich, and textured, yet also light on the palate, perfectly balanced, and with an overall elegant feel, it too needed a full day to unwind, and will have upwards of 15-20 years or more of prime drinking."
